A couple exciting things for me (Charlie) coming up. Next week I have my final dental appointment for my 6 month journey to implants, including a bone graft in my jaw, 2 implants in my lower jaw and new hardware all the way around. Pretty much a whole mouth reconstruction! This happens Tuesday. July 15th 2025 at 2pm! (pictures coming soon)
Also on Tuesday, July the 15th 2025 is the beginning of a new journey as a singer at The School of Rock! Singing lessons start that night and I may also revisit drums. The goal is to take lessons, improve to the point where I can join a School of Rock band and practice every week until the band is good enough to perform in concert at a venue in Omaha! (pictures and more news coming next week)

All this following about a 10 year stint with severe depression and anxiety along with other mental health conditions. Recently I went through an electric shock therapy session followed by 4 weeks of of outpatient mental health therapy followed by 60 hours of mental health peer support training. Throughout my life I have wrestled with severe mental health challenges but maybe not so difficult as these last 10 years. A mental health challenge is more than shaking it off or splashing cold water on your face. It can cut deep and it affects family, friends, businesses and co-workers, so if you know someone struggling give them a hand, be supportive and help them get the assistance they need. Anyway – back to the present. I’m feeling pretty good. I’m still having a few symptoms but I have some tools I’m using to help me stay in the light!
